Tilapia with tomato basil salsa

I've always seen Tilapia fillet at Costco but never bought one.
For the first time, I cooked Tilapia and it was so flaky and soft! Raw tilapia is firm texture and I never knew it became this soft after cooked.

I made simple salsa with cherry tomatoes, basil from my garden with garlic and olive oil and some onion.

So light but filling.

I want to make fish taco with Tilapis next time!

Chinese Dinner

I often make this lettuce wrap at home. It's easy and very tasty.
I always make some extra because this mixture makes great filling for spring roll or pork bun. or just simply on top of rice or mixed with noodles.

last night I served it with store bought steamed sweet red bean bun.

Yogrt cake with homemade pech rose water jam

I saw a recipe by using pancake mix in Japanese cooking website I gave a try.

I decorated with my homemade Peach jam with rosewater and pansy from my garden.

It's too dense for my taste, but the taste was ok.

I entered my 2nd Pie Contest by KCRW at Taste of Beverly Hills.
